| [slm] I'm thinking to go through the program at London Open College to get a BA in Islamic studies.... Has anyone here gone through this college or know someone who has? I'd like to know anything and everything about it. :) Here is the link to their site: http://www.londonoc.com Salam. |

| [slm] I was considering of doing the very same thing. The difference between LOC and other schools that offer this type of degree/certificate/just plain knowledge programs is that it seems structured enough not to be aimless. Good luck with it. Wasalaam. SF. |

| Asalaamu Aleikoum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh I began this course and, Alhamdulillah, it was (in my humble and ignorant opinion) very good. It uses the same materials as are used for the American Open University course and, as you suggest, the structure is very good. Masha Allah, the brothers who run the scheme are very helpful. The only "downside" (if you can call it that) is that, to do yourself justice, you need to dedicate quite a lot of time. This is the only reason that I no longer follow the course: I didn't have the time to commit regular study time to it all. That aside, my experience with LOC was entirely favourable, Alhamdulillah.
