Best read for non-muslims?

Assalamualaikum

Please suggest some books that you think can help non-muslims know MORE about Islam .

I was wondering if i was to lend an Islamic book to my teacher which one would it be.He is British and he has a PRETTY good idea about Islam's basics ,like Oneness of God, pillars of faith etcetc

But I sense he hasn't read any good Seerah books .So he doesn't know about Prophet's(pbuh)  life in depth and the sacrifices he made and his frugal lifestyle .

He told me he rejects trinity and such and believes in One God.
Sometimes I think maybe he is muslim and doesn't even know it.

So I was thinking if you fine folks could recommend me some books :)
Something that would really make him give Islam a serious thought and build on his existing knowledge.
I was thinking Muhammad (saw) by Yahya Emerick is a good read .
But i aint sure and thats where you guys come in :)

JazakhAllah Khair
Wassalam

Ps; oh i forgot he has a transalation of the noble Quraan but I don't know if he has read it fully . ???.

If you're looking for a book on  seerah then I'd recommend "Life of Muhammad [saw] by Abdullah haykal"

The "Book of Assistance."

It isn't very long, and it uses such few words to explain so much.  The author is ....... (I'll get back to you on that one, InshaAllah)  Read it yourself first, to know whether or not it's what you're looking for.  It kind of tackles 'Ibadah at a philosophical level.  It's interesting.

Wasalaam.
