In the name of Allah The Most Compassionate The Most Merciful Alsalam Alaikum Wa RahmatuAllahi wa BarakatuHu May peace be upon you and Allah's Compassion and His Blessing Some people want to have lots and lots of money. They might want to be with women. Some want to have many children. They would love to have vaults filled with gold and silver. They desire fast cars. The want to own much cattle. They want to own vast amounts of property and land. These are the deceptions of the wordly life. Should I tell you of something better than those things? It is the rewards that Allah has made in the Jannah. With Allah are far better rewards. The things of the dunya are not as good as what Allah has made in the Jannah. The wordly life is like the following: 1. It is like a game, like a child playing with toys. La la la; a person gets more in the dunya. La la la, keep getting more. What does a person end up with? Toys. The important things are what Allah will give the person in the Jannah. 2. Glamour. There us no substance to the objects, just desires. A person might stress himself out his whole life, forgetting about Allah and striving for the fast things of the wordly life. They end up having things that other people envy, and become obsessed with what they have. That is the Wordly life. What do people end up with? Just things that other people desire. The end up with just desires. 3. Boastings and Braggings. People compete with each other to see who gets the most toys. They are deceived in thinking that their life is like a game, and the person having the most wins. Life is a test for each person by Allah, not a competition to see who has the most. Is that person the winner, who has the most toys? He is the winner of being the most deceived. The real winner is the one that has the most in the afterlife. 4. Multiplying and increasing. A person may have something saved up and add more to it. Why? Just to make it more. Keep adding more. Why? Just to make it more. Keep adding more. Why? Just to make it more. Keep adding more.... is there an end? Yes, when they meet the angel of death. It is far better to to add to the real account of the afterlife, where Allah will multiply it many times over and repay them with what they will be pleased with. The life of this world is like the plants that fascinate people seeing growing from rain. These plants wither and you will see them turn yellow. Eventually they become like straw. That straw eventually gets eaten up, or becomes like ashes that the wind blows away. Allah has made a far better reward in the Jannah, that lasts forever. Let us not get deceived by the Dunya. Allah gives people more and less in this life as their test. In the Jannah Allah has made beautiful Gardens with many rivers. People will be dwelling and mansions and palaces. Is there any reward better than Allah's? Allah made this whole universe out of nothing, and Allah will give the believers vast rewards in the afterlife, that would be real pleasing to their eyes. The Jannahs are as vast as the heavens and the earth. That is the reward from The Forgiving and Merciful. Prophet Muhammad (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said that the last person to enter the Jannah (after finishing the time in the hell fire) will have a Jannah ten times bigger than the whole earth. You can imagine how much reward the rest will have. Let us follow the example of Allah's prophet (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and his Sahabah, and strive for the great rewards that are in store in the Akhira. Allah offered Prophet Muhammad (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) the dunya, when he was passing away. He rejected it, and accepted being in the noblest company. May the peace and blessings be on our beloved and trustworthy Messenger Muhammad (May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him).Allah's messenger and the sahabah purposely kept away from the wordly desires, for fear of corruption. My dear brothers and sisters, don't let the trinkets of this world deceive you. The life of this world is little compared to the good rewards that Allah has made in the Jannah. Let us turn towards Allah, and remember Him much. Let us keep Him in our lives, and not become deceived. Let not business keep us away from remembering Allah. The life of this world is not the same as the better life that Allah has made for us in the Jannah. Let us spend our time in learning about Allah's religion. Let us come closer to Allah. May Allah forgive us our faults and have compassion upon us, and give us much rewards in the beautiful homes of the Jannah. May Allah accept from all the believers. Amin. Alsalam Alaikum Wa RahmatuAllahi wa BarakatuHu May peace be upon you and Allah's Compassion and His Blessing Ahmed |
