Question:

What is our stance concerning the slaughter of Muslims in Palestine and other parts of the world that is happening right now, where houses are being destroyed, farms are being wrecked, children are being killed, the wounded are being detained in the streets, houses are being bombarded and people are being prevented by the Jews and others, from buying the food and drink that they need? What can I, as a Muslim, do?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

1-     You have to make du’aa’, and recite du’a’ al-qunoot in your salaah (prayer).

2-     Collect charity and send it through trustworthy channels.

3-     Support the weak and oppressed in all ways, including the media and the internet.

4-     Get scholars, daa’iyahs, khateebs and writers to explain the oppression that is happening and the negligence on the part of the ummah, and to mobilize the ummah to defend the holy places.

5-     Check on one’s own intentions with regard to fighting for the sake of Allaah, and see whether he is applying the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever dies without having fought for the sake of Allaah or having had the intention of doing so, has died following one of the branches of hypocrisy.” (Saheeh Muslim, no. 3533)

6-     Pursuing all the means of building up material and moral strength, in preparation for meeting the enemy (in battle).

7-     Reminding oneself and others of the virtues of martyrdom for the sake of Allaah and studying the rulings on jihad, and not having an attachment to this world.

8-     Doing as much damage as possible to the enemies who are in a state of war with us, by boycotting their products, attacking them verbally and in writing to humiliate and annoy them, and to point out their kufr and shirk, and their insults to Allaah, His Messenger and the believers, publishing as much as possible in the audio-visual and print media about this serious topic whilst also connecting that to Islamic belief and the words of Allaah and His Messenger,

We ask Allaah the Exalted and All-Powerful to support His religion and cause His word to prevail.

Salaams,

Yep this question pops into my mind every day another moral question i ask myself everyday is an uneasy feeling to where we all work, especially our bros and sisters in the UK and US. I find that whichever way you turn you feel that you are contributing to the war effort. Either by paying our taxes or working in the system.

Do you ever feel that perhaps your professional skill or perhaps a way of life would be suited better away from these countries. But then the question arises to where would we migrate to ?
and people are being prevented by the Jews and others, from buying the food and drink that they need? What can I, as a Muslim, do
Don't just generalise the Jews, some of them want to live in peace and agree to whats happening to the Palestinians is evil and some even go to the extent of understanding why a person wants to kill themselves.  Yet today go to the border of Jordan and you are stopped by the people manning the checkpoint from entering Palestine and no they are not Israeli soldiers.

Those are all good point but what I fail to see on their is action. No longer can muslims be silent in those country while my government (US) sponsors this imperialistic Israeli conquest of Palestine.

I go to a lot of protests orginize teach ins letter writing campaigns meetings etc. And the majority of the people I see there are Jews and Athiests and Homosexuals. Actually a lot of the time I am the only muslims there. It is a sad situation when I feel that a lot of people pay lip service to the Palestinians but dont take action for one reason or another either they feel they are to busy or are afaird of being a taget by the government because they are Arab/muslims which is not an excuse since we have nothing to fear except Allah.

The Prophet pbuh once said that the greatest jihadis to speak a true word in the presence of an unjust ruler when are people going to heed this advice and take action speak out rise up and try to change Us foreign policy?
What we need now is action do something anything write letters harrass your senator congressman women ORGINIZE NOW. We need to speak out and work on changing the system NOW. So everyone out there I want you to do your self a favor and do something orginize a teach in educate people do letter writing campaigns go to protests get invovled  before it is to late for us or our brothers and sisters in Palestine End rhe deathing silence from the muslim community now. There are over 6 million muslims in the US there is no reason why we cant change things inshaAllah when we outnumber the Jewish pro Israel people here
