When you bring meals to the masjid this month...do you cook with garlic and onions?

Does anyone know the hadith about it?

Vol 9, Book 92. Holding Fast To The Qur'an and Sunnah
Hadith 458. (Shahi Bukhari)

Narrated By Jabir bin Abdullah: The Prophet said, "Whoever has eaten GARLIC or onion, should keep away from us, or should keep away from our mosque and should stay at home." Ibn Wahb said, "Once a plate full of cooked vegetables was brought to the Prophet at Badr. Detecting a bad smell from it, he asked about the dish and was informed of the kinds of vegetables in contained. He then said, "Bring it near," and so it was brought near to one of his companions who was with him. When the Prophet saw it, he disliked eating it and said (to his companion), "Eat, for I talk in secret to ones whom you do not talk to."

I remember reading about this. The Prophet (saaws) woudln't eat onions and garlic himself but he had no problems with anyone else eating it. Maybe he didn't want his breath to be stinking while Jibreel was there?

What I've learn:
One of the companions asked about eating garlic and onions and going to the mosque (aftering hearing the Prophet's [saw] hadith) and he was told to kill the odour by cooking it well.  But for anyone eating raw garlic or onions, they should stay away from the mosque because the Angels and Muslims are harmed by the smell.
Allahu Alim.

I found this:

Question:

Eating bread, watermelon, fruits etc., in the mosque – is this permitted or should it not be allowed?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

This is permissible, and it need not be stopped, but a cloth or something should be put down, the mosque should be protected, and care should be taken not to drop any crumbs, pieces of fruit, etc., in the mosque. This is what we have stated with regard to foods that do not have an offensive odour, like garlic, onions and leeks, and dishes that do not have any of these odours in them.. If the food has any of these things in it, then it is makrooh to eat it in the mosque, and the person who has eaten them should be stopped from entering the mosque until the smell has gone. If he has entered the mosque, he should be thrown out, because of the well-known saheeh hadeeth to that effect. All of this applies where the odour is present, but if the odour has been killed by cooking, the person who has eaten it need not be stopped from entering the mosque, and it is permissible to eat it in the mosque. And Allaah knows best.
