| I am not sure if if this is supposed to be posted here or somewhere else, but since southern calif. is the center of the world, i was wondering if everyone was excited as we were that the California Angels won the world series? (kinda dissapointed that bhaloo didn't post about it.) That means we hold baseball and basketball crowns and the Los Angeles pro football teams have not lost a game this season....and maybe hockey is next too!!!! |

| [slm] Yeah I remember how exciting that was when the Anaheim Angels won the World Series. I've spent most of my life growing up in Anaheim. I even got 2 tickets to see the Angels this year (when I signed up for my cable modem them gave me it), but I couldn't find anyone to go with and plust the strike in baseball was supposed to happen that day. :D Maybe they'll be collectors items in the future? ??? |

| hey, we have 4 and 1/2 months before march madness. We still have new yearrs day college football bowl games and super bowl to get through. But i think nothing beats march madness especially when the west coasts teams beat up on the ACC. ps Maybe Bro hanif can give us the scoop on the world curling championships. |

| [slm], Ahhhhh, good old march madness. But, I was referring to all the ACC teams starting their seasons, the usuals Maryland, Duke, etc! West Cost teams beating up on ACC teams? Hmmmm.... which conference has won more NCAA championships recently? |
