| ... we can't have a weekly Islamic show on cable-tv? There are entire "tele-vangical" channels that are dedicated to their own cause 24-7 so why can't we have a regular Islamic program on network television? Is it because: a.) No one will sponsor such a program? b.) None of the network channels will allow it? c.) There is insufficient Islamic programming content in English? d.) No one cares? I think just an hour of informational talk on Islam delievered w/ the proper attitude will do wonders in educating the American masses on true Islam. So how come we haven't used TV as a media for Da'wah? Any thoughts? --Zahid. |

.... we are immigrants who think we are 'one day' going back home ... we are children of immigrants who have inferiority complexes ... we are of the old school of thought where anything newfangled is dangerous ... we don't see the long term benefits of using muslim money in such a fashion |

A couple of bros/siters tried it in the UK but I think its got slightly stalled. However, one way may be to have shows that are recorded digitally which then reduces the cost of streaming it down to the users, here they could have the media on any format be it on TV, PC etc. Salaams Hanif |
