| [slm] I think i might have to give a little short speech at an iftar today where there will be some christians. I have less then 12 hours to prepare. Anyone got any quick ideas? |

| [wlm] why not discuss that ramadan is the month of the Quran and its first revelation. then go into the significance of reciting the quran and leaning from it. Talk a little about proof that it was revealed and not written (by method of deduction--> see article "who wrote the quran in this site) Perhpas here you can go into Mariam (at the end of the article) and the view of the Quran and how she is the only woman's name mentioned at all in it and also the only one with a sura after her. also for the part about how a misfit might have written it (astaghfirullah) you can add then it would have many of hte historical errors that were already in the other religions at the time. (like saying pharo instead of king) |
