| As'salaam u alaikum wrwb I am new here although i have browsing this site many times and have read many articles. I was born and raised in the US of A but im paki! I deeply appreciate this site. | as salaamu alaykum, once I called into a radio show and the host asked me what my ethnicity was.. so I was trying to explain how I was born and raised here in the US, and that my family is originally from India.. but I was *really* nervous.. so I was like... "I'm indian.. but native to america.. uhh.. so like native american.. wait, but not 'native american'.. I'm american indian.. no, wait, I mean.. umm indian american.. uhmm.. yeah." ::) welcome to the board sis, whatever ur nationality is :P wasalaamu alaykum :-) |
