Assalamu alaikum,

Pls take the time to listen to this audio lecture if you haven't already. It's a long
time fav lecture of mine..don't matter if it's the umpteenth time you've listened to
it..it'll never fail to move you and be overwhelmed at Allah's mercy upon those who reflect. Be
patient to get to the part of the story of Ahmad the repenter...it's worth the wait.

His qiraat is definitely awesome. I listened to this but think it's mostly targetted at messed up guys who have too many temptations :) I dunno bout u guys but i'm kind of tired of ppl using women as a metaphor for dunya!! men are dunya too but no one mentions that!! :)

Bismillah

the lecture is wonderfull indeed, and maybe it's the first time in my life  i can listen to one hour of streaming audio without interruption

anyway......

sometime i have the feeling that Allah swt will never forgive me of what i made before but when i listen to these lectures i remeber always that allah swt forgives all the sins if man was sincere in his repentence

but i want to say also that asking for forgiveness is not only for the ones who made and make mistakes it's also for the (good) and (great) :P
ones also

i don't remeber the hadith but rasul allah salla allahu alaihi wassalam says like he asks for forgiveness more than 70 times every day

i remeber that my teacher told me once that the seeker starts his way to Allah by istighfar and ends his journey by istighfar

i know...... i know it's a sufi thing...... but i believe that we should seek the truth from everywhere

anyway......

I ask Allah swt to forgive me..and i ask for your forgiveness if made something wrong
I ask allah swt to show us the straight way..

amen

its good advise for all and lets take it as that. there are ppl who do that (target women) but not in this case, you choose to look at it in that light. ppl mention that less because women are a greater temptation to men than men are to women.
