| for the New Year...for the general population, community? I am going to be on TV tomorrow for a panel inter faith group discussion. We have been given prepared questions. How would you answer in 10 seconds or less... (I don't want any Christmas card type responces, like Peace and Health to All.) Something suitable for a Muslim to say, keeping dawah and tauwheed in mind. What are my Hopes and Wishes for the New Year? [i]Yes, I am aware that the new year for us doesn't start Jan 1![/i] |

| [slm] I am so proud of you masha'Allah and we don't elevate anyone above Allah. I would say something about wishing that more people will experience the peace which comes from acknowledging that there is nothing (creatED be it money, idols, ourselves, [i]another human[/i], etc) is worthy of being worshipped accept for God and God alone or the second wish, that America would not stop its agression against Iraq and other Muslim countries. THe second part can be worded better. But I think it is important to do your own jihad to verbalize at least that they shouldn't do that which they plan to the Iraq. |
