| A needle went through my toe!! |

| [slm] Tonight My husband and I were rearranging the house, he was working in one room and me the other. I was almost done (just vaccuming left). I was making sure there was nothing laying around when I stepped on a sewing needle that was standing up :o :o . I looked at my foot and the needle was very far in, I called my husband (basically almost screaming) and I sat down on a nearby table, and I realized that the pin was poking out of the other side of my toe (my baby toe). My husband ran to me and told me "pull it out, pull it out!!) I told him I couldnt and for him to do it, after a few seconds of negotiating (I am crying meanwhile). He tried pulling it but couldnt get a good grip, so he ran for the pliers, and Ya Allah was I freaking out!! He pulled it out quikly Alhumdulilah!! It didn't bleed much, but it did hurt. I was crying so hard (cuz it was like the most real & freakiest thing I had ever seen. (okay I am a scardy cat). My husband held me and Alhumdulilah I was okay, SubhanAllah I was grateful to Allah that our son hadnt been the one to step on it!! Alhumdulilah!! I have been having bad pain going up and down my leg, InshaAllah tommorow I am going to go get a tetnus shot. Forgive me, just sharing my woes, w/my fellow Madinians!Hope ya'll don't mind! | [slm] [color=Red]OUCH!!!! [sup]and[/sup] EINA!!!![/color] Soooo sorry to hear about that...it those TINY cuts and stuff that seem to hurt/burn a lot more...like papercuts for instance. Insha-Allah all will be well. | slm When this happened to me- although not as severely- I was so greatful to Allah swt that it happened to me and not my son or hubby. especially since I was the one to use the needle.... I hope you feel better! ow! |

| [slm] I stepped on 3 inch nails 3 times, it went right up my shoe and into my feet. It was painful but the second time around i got used to it. I had to get a shot for something cuz they were rusted. [wlm] |

| Salaams Awww sis! i'm sorry to hear what happened...sounds painful!!! Alhamdulillah nothing serious happened though...you know, one time my mom was opening up a can and you know the edges of cans are really sharp and she scratched herself really badly and it was soo deep that she had to get stitches and then to top it all off- her hand wasn't numb when they started stitching her! OuCh!!! my poor ma :) But Tetnus shots don't hurt, so you'll be A-Ok before you know it, inshaAllah :) and phew!! thank God it didn't hit your son, that's a BIG relief =) okee dokee! take care of that foot :) Wa Salaams |

| ouch, you poor thing. And please make sure you get that tetnus shot. If I remember correctly it is ok as long as it is within 48 or 72 hours of the injury. I can't remember which one. The pain up and down may be cause the needle hit a tiny nerve. We have so many nerves all over. Hope you heal quickly and GET THAT TETNUS SHOT. When was the last time you had one? |

| Assalamu'alaikum, I hope you're feeling much better now, Sis Jenna :) inshaALlah :) I got a crochet needle poked at my bottom, once. Just minding my own business, plopped on a chair, didn't see the needle that was hiding in the yarn and stuff. Then **OUCH!*** My aunt took the needle out, but it didn't go far in, just the edge of the hook, I think. I was in Primary school then. Wassalam :-) |

Ok, thats a classic Saleema line :) Sounds like you do it for fun on the weekends. "Lets see, I haven't stepped on a 3 inch nail in a few weeks...let me try a 6 incher this time..." :) Its like every sister has stepped on a sewing needle--i haven't even seen a sewing needle in like 4 years! y'all should invest in them tablighi leather socks, keep your feet warm too :) oops, sorry sisters, i go make fun of brothers now... |
