| Assalamualaikum wr wb Dearest Brothers and Sisters whom I have come to know and love I will be leaving Singapore on the 1st of February for KL where I will be starting a new life as an MA student, Insya'ALlah. Life has been hectic and it will get even more hectic, I know. I will be staying with my Aunt for the first few months and her house does not have any internet access. The nearest internet cafe from her place is a considerable distance away. I am also not able to access internet via the University's library. In short..I will be away from Madinat for quite some time :-( Its not easy for me because I will be away from my husband, children and friends. ALhamdulillah, I have relatives in KL. I will miss the Madinat folks very much. We have never seen each other physically (cept for Barr) but I feel we have connected intellectually and spiritually. Wanna know a secret ? Sometimes when I read some of the posts I wish I can hug people like Sis Eleanor, Sis Mariam (otherwise known as the mysterious M.F whose name never appears at the bottom of the page), Sis Kathy and so many others. Sometimes I wish I can sit at a cafe somewhere and talk with all of you and exchange ideas galore. Maybe, ALlah willing, we will do that someday. This has been a wonderful place for me to come and share experiences with my kindred spirits and I know that as and when I have the time to come back again, it will still be a wonderful place :-) I will try to read up and post till my last day here...but in the meantime here is an update of the Cow Poetry we used to do. The Cow Sometimes its Holy..when used in American Lingo Its sacred too..as all Hindus would know But a cow is really just a cow Meat we eat as much as health allow To dedicate a poetry to the passive animal Is to elevate its status symbol From a four-legged mooing entity To a very complex issue in philosophy So end all this confusion and folly Enjoy a bebsi and kabob..beef definitely Wassalam |

You have so much gift and beauty in you that is a clear sign of ALlah's love for you. Always remember that when you feel that life can be dark and hard sometimes.
