Being in southern California and having gone to a Ram and Raider game growing up, I am a Ram and Raider fan, even though they have moved out of the area.  The 49er and Green Bay game was exciting, but in the end the better team prevailed, 25-15. :)  Hota hai. ;)

I watched the 1st half of the Raider game yesterday, but missed the 2nd half, but that was a pretty cool game as well. :)

Next week is going to be phat, Rams vs. the Green Bay Packers. :)  There's some pathetic teams playing rightnow, Ravens and the Dolphins.  :puke:

Wa Lakum Salam,

I boycott Football on account of it being called "tossing around the old pigskin" in some circles.

Its a brutal, foolish sport, that reflects remnants of a primordial, unruly world, where the biggest and strongest prevail.  Those who say that there is a large element of tactical and strategic facets to football should remind the roided-up, stuttering, brain-dead, gorillas who play it.

But yeah, I watched some of end of the GB, SF game for about 10 scnds on the clock until I remembered, " I am a basketball fan!"

Bro AkbalKhan, what you on about...??? Have you ever played the sport or not ? I myself have played a similiar sport, its called Rugby and no I'm not a gorilla nor am I brain dead. There is skill, speed and strategy involed.
Using the term gorilla to describe a fellow human whether one is a muslim or not is quite low, in fact its downright awful. Remember our words are dawah on this board. How would you feel if an NFL player or a Rugby player in the UK read your words ?. One word, sick.

Salaams

Wow!  Touchy, touchy.

yeah, I do recall mentioning on the board how relating Muslims to the likes of animals is not becoming, however mentioning how people who play brutalizing sports are like gorillas is actually more of an insult to the gorillas, so I apologize to the gorillas, they are actually peace loving, family oriented, rare creatures.  So I guess I will just stick to the term brutes next time.  But if you read my post a little closer you will see that I did not say all footballs players are ".....gorillas." No, I said someone should remind those who can be likened a such.  If you are just looking to argue, or a reason to call me sick for my opinion than there are far more important things to use as an excuse, than a stupid game that is taken far too seriously by kafir to begin with (how many go to Sunday football, as opposed to their own religious services?).

But yes I have played the sport, team and pick up, and I still don't like it.  But I guess I will stay out of this thread on account of your resorting to name calling, i.e. sick, after calling me out on what you thought I was saying.

Qamar Akbal Kaan

You guys like American football? Man that game is so boring! It used to come on Channel 4. Its so stop start, no free flowing play, apart from a few seconds! Do you guys really enjoy it?

And how come they wear so much padding, big girls! Tough guys dont need that nancy gear! Look at Rugby, now that is rough, yet they dont have the cages around them ;)

So bro's, get your tee-cosies off, and play Rugby.

Its free flowing, fast, non-stop, aggressive and exciting, and best of all, thier always fights!

the seasons over and the pats won it... personally i thought they were going to win this game (was even rootin for them too)... the fact that they were the HUGE underdog made them win this game... they nailed the rams recievers like they should be nailed all year... by the fourth quarter they were falling down on the ground not wanting a hit from any of the pats secondary... although i am a niners fan... i believe that no niners fan should go for the rams in any contest :) but thats just personal opinion :):)
anyways what did you all think... about adam's (synomyous with MY first name :)) final kick? gimme ur feedback...

I couldn't believe it. Actually, the whole drive starting from the pats own 20? all the way to field goal range was unbelieveable. And with only a few seconds left too. Well, I don't like the cheesy ad of the rams' quarterback, hehe, so I was glad the rams lost. But definitely one of the best games I've ever seen.

There's only one thing I can say :

We are the champions, my friend
And we'll keep on winning, till the end
We are the champions, we are the champions,
No time for losing, Cos we are the champions
Of the world
