| as-salaam alaikum:) does anyone know how to make a nice fudgy/spongy cake:)-chocolate! I cant be bothered to try somethin new, cos i want something that has already been tested;) take care |

| [slm][bsm] [color=magenta] 187,5 ml milk (three quarter cup) 50 ml margarine (4 Tablespoons) 375 ml flour (1½ cups) 37,5 ml cocoa powder (3 Tablespoon) 20ml baking powder (4 Tablespoon) pinch salt 3 eggs 250 ml castor sugar (1 cup)[/color] [color=blue][i] 1. Heat the milk and margarine till it boils. Sift dry ingerdiants. 2. Whisk eggs and sugar together for 6 minutes, until light and fluffy 3. Fold in sifetd dry ingerdients and hot liquid mixture 4. Pour into 2 x 20cm (8 inch) greased baking pans and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15 to 18 minutes 5. Turn out and cool[/color][/i] [color=green]Icing 250 ml icing sugar (1 cup) 25 ml margarine (2 Tablespoon) Dash of cinnamon Milk to mix 25 ml cocoa Mix unti smooth and sandwich cakes together. Decorate with nuts and cherries. [/color]I sometimes add a drop of pepermint essence to the icing :) [slm]:-) |
