I like to play snooker, but I'm just terrible at it. ;-D  There was a snooker table in the building where I used to live, but there isn't even a rec. room in the building I live in currently.  Now, in order to play, I'd have to go to a bar (which just isn't going to happen), so I guess I'm cut off for the time being.

I like snooker and pool. Haven't played either of them in years though.
Snooker is the one with the red balls, and one each of green yellow blue black pink and brown. You have to pot a red ball first and then you can have a go at any of the coloured ones. The reds count for one point and then starting with yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black they are worth 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 points. The points are written down as you go along. If there are still red balls left on the table then the coloured one is taken out again and put back on its starting point. when all the reds are potted then you have to pot the coloured ones in the order of lowest points first. If you pot the black at any stage by accident when you're not supposed to then you've lost.

It's a good game too, but more tedious than pool. And the table is *big*.
Anyone know what's the deal with that game (is it billiards?) where the table has *no* pockets???

Billiards is played with the same table as snooker is played. It's played with only three balls, white, yellow and red.

Salaams,

I'll never forget the first time I played pool...

it was in the uni games room, adn me and a pal were playing with just one cue (b/c da guyz hogged all the others :( ) Anyways, i just finished shooting and was handing the cue to my bud, and SMACKED her right in the jaw with it!! I couldn't help it. I started laughing. It was the funniest thing...**evil laugh "I LAUGH AT YOUR PAIN!!" ** :)

Played, it a few times after...but the indo-pak version is MUCH better... KARAM BABY!!!!
