hmmmmmm. Is it where Pacman (the yellow arcade game man of the 80's) came from?

asalamu alaikum,

My old nostalgic self would think of Atari and say Pac Man's home.

Pak Land is what I would say is where "Pakis" come from, a term still used derogatorily by some and jokingly by many from that area.

But its not paK, you said PAC,

so yeah, Atari. aslaamu alaikum. abdullah,.

I thought PacMan aswell but when you put in the 'land' tag, you can only refer to pakistan. Depends on spelling though, Pakland, not Pacland :o

Hania got it.  It is an arcade game from the 80's, based on the Pacman character but totally different from pacman itself.  IMHO, this is THE BEST ARCADE GAME EVER.

When I was at University at King's College London, I was addicted to this game. Now I am by no means a fan of video/arcade games, but this game appealed to me for two reasons : (i) it was only 10 pence a games (ii) it was the only game I could stay on for more than two minutes.

So anyway, I found out that you can download an emulator for this game.  So over the weekend, I downloaded it and started playing.  Now come Tuesday, I wasn't feeling well, and didn't go to work.  So what did I do all day ?  Yep, just played Pacland!

So I wanna know, any other "good friends of Pacman in the Pacland" out there ?

I was in hospital when I was nine (lawnmower did my foot in), and my mother bought me a pacman game. It was so cool. I loved it. It was a little thing, like the size of a gameboy or so. Anyway, by the time I came out of hospital I could reach the highest score (2000) by playing it with my eyes closed! :o  That's the only problem with the old games - PRE-DICT-A-BLE -
I used to love Wonderboy too! That was an arcade game at the caravan park where we used to go on holidays when I was small. It only cost 10p too! I was *always* begging my mother for 10p! ;-D I made her life a living hell, all because of Wonderboy! heh heh..
