[salam]

sorry bro for not responding, it's hard to work out of a deluge of stuff that has come my way lately.. but the luv of this board just doesn't stop me from posting something:)..

here you go..
I saw only the last 10 minutes of the interview, the first question i heard was about something Imam Zaid Shakir said in a speech sometime ago, "..the US constitution has something that directly confronts the values of Islam.." the interviewer asked him why did he say that, He gave a very cool reply, he said that a lot of for example homosexuality and other values do not conform with Islam, but i did not say that we should fight for this, the same Islam also bounds me to respect the law of land and live under its law. Then he turned to Jihad, and asked him what does it exactly mean.. ? His reply was very deep and clear, defining different levels of Islam and he also said that Islam also recognizes the combat mode and enforces some rules on it. The finally he asked him about his trip abroad to study and how did it influence him. To this, he also gave a cool reply which i dont exactly remember.

Masha'Allah he looked very kewl in his black suit..:)
and also he was very composed and calm during the questions. I will get hold of the video tape of this interview insha'Allah.. and then can tell you all more accurately.
