| slm, i received this email on my webmaster accound for our masjid's website... it's from an 8th grade teacher in my state... of course i'll refer him to the resources page of jannah.org, but does anyone know of any specific sites that are relavant to what he is looking for? (islamic civilations) jazakallahu khair :) ---------- I am a 8th grade world history teacher at -----------. I am teaching ancient world history and part of the Alabama State Course of Study requires that I have the students "assess the characteristics and spread of Islamic civilizations" (AL Course of Study, p. 84). I would like to have my students participate in internet research on the history and development of Islam and its civilizations throughout the ancient world. I was wondering if you knew any web sites that would help in the development of this project. I would also appreciate any information you could provide that I could use in class to aid in allowing the students to understand the basic ideas and history behind Islam and its origins. | slm, ay there! thanx for the welcome hajree :) yeah i knwo i havent been on much lately.. after i came back form india i was so busy with school, college apps, etc etc etc... but inshallah im gonna try to fit the madina back into my daily routine ;-D i couldnt forget about you all :) i still have so many threads to catch up on though :( and yeah the welcoming wagon will resume its normal operations soon inshallah ;-D jus make duaa for me and that i get accepted to a good school and i'll be able to go there inshallah :) *cough*UMCP*cough* ;-D |
