hello all, first off i would like say thank you for being so very nice to my wife, she is a fine wife and one in a million to boot :) i have read alot of these boards that she has sent, you all seem  like very nice people. i have no heartburn about cara talking with muslims and i do not have a problem with muslim people. it feels good to be home. as far as spiritual beliefs i am agnostic. i am 37 yrs old from florida, i love to ride horses, fish, hike, canoe basically anything fun outdoors and i love to cook but most of all i love my wife :)

Thank you for allowing us to share Sr. Cara :) . Although I don't post here often, I have enjoyed what Sr. Cara has posted. I sincerely feel that both Sr Cara and Sr Kathy are like a mother figure to me :) . I have learnt a lot from the two of you since you always see things from the eyes of the mother. My mom is way older than the 2 of you, but knowing that she sometimes can't be the mom she used to be due to her illness, I have always seek for motherly comfort from other moms . Man, now I feel like crying...

This is suppose to be a happy moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome Charlie!!!!!!

Hey Charlie! :)

Nice to meet you. You are coming and I'm leaving the board.
That's life. Kinda like the life and death cycle. Ok, so that
analogy was streched.

I really get along well with agnostic/athiests, I don't know why. I just do, I like talking to them. But I won't get to know you since
you since I'm leaving the board. But oh well. :) Nice meeting you.

Welcome Charlie!
It's nice to finally meet you!! Cara thinks the world of you :) :) It's been great getting to know her and hopefully we'll get to know you too.
An agnostic I believe is someone who believes that there's a "Power" out there but doesn't follow any religion.  Am I right?
You and Cara sound like you're very active people.  Just the opposite of me an my husband, the couch potato family :)
I'll be looking forward to your recipes.  I love to cook too.
take care

This is Cara, Charlie is at work till tomorrow. He can correct me if I am wrong, but to answer your question M.F. from what he has told me he wonders with so many beliefs and religions how does one know what to believe?  Thus agnostic= doesn't know what to believe in.

Yup, I can certainly see the dilemma.
I guess one answer is to believe in the one that makes most sense and that you're most comfortable with.  There are a lot of beliefs and religions but, to me anyway, a lot of them don't really make sense to me spiritually-wise or logic-wise.
