| [slm] Ok, if you noticed, I haven't been on the board much. But now, I will visit it even less. I'm just too busy with school, work and volunteering. Plus, i have three debate competitions that I'm preparing for and that takes up a lot of time and energy. I will miss you guys, the good times, the bad, the fights... :) Please pray for me but above all please FORGIVE me--to those who I have offended and wasn't that nice to on ocassions. You know who you are. :) Sorry. :( Really, it's coming deep down from the little ticker. (Oh and Mujahid, this apology is not for you. :) just kidding) Hey, Jehad, I know I have said some not very nice things to you on ocassion. And sister Amatuallh. All the rest I'm not mentioning by name cuz I don't know who else I offended. So again, pls forgive me. With those that I keep in touch with through email, I still will inshallah. Oh and I will occasionaly pop in if I have a question or I need help. :D Where's Abu Khalid? :( I miss reading his posts. [wlm] |

| slm Saleema there are 3 valuable things you taught me. 1). Girls can beat up football players. 2). Aliens just want onions. 3). You confirmed the theory that women are bad drivers. But all kidding aside, we really appreciated your valuable input on the board and your discussions. You will be sorely missed. :( Jazak Allah khairen for everything. If you ever play Princess in b-ball, let me know who wins, cause she keeps saying she is the better player. :) |

| slm, sheesh saleema.. the title of this thread sounds so pessimistic :( you're not leaving... you're just not going to be a regular, thats all :) but we'll miss you nonetheless... you've provided much valuable and memorable input here and may Allah reward you for all the good that has come of it :) wish you the best in all your future endevors inshallah... g'luck with em and may they continue to be a source of increasing your imaan and a help to others inshallah :) and yeah... come back every now and then... dont let the glory dayz die ;-D - the welcoming wagon ;-D (yes, we do official goodbyes too :) ) |

| Salaams SubhanAllah, not less than an hour ago, i was thinking where is saleema??? i don't really know you that well, i did talk to you though a couple of times on my other user names, which were deleted, but you sure are a swell of a gal...hehe! you will be missed for sure, no jokes :(...i feel like we're loosing the tough blunt bully (not in a mean way) here, but i really admire how you're actually doing your work and not procrastinating and coming on here, mashaAllah! ;) take care of yourself and remember to keep us in your dua'as :) acha jee, phir mulakaat hogee aik dhin, inshaAllah-talaa :P i know you're a really good urdu speaker, so i thought i would end my thingy with some, but you should feel honored i spoke a full sentence of urdu to you! i'll say some words here and there, but i get too embarassed to post more than a sentence because i know people will laugh..but it's all good in the hood :) okee saleema girly, take care and have fun! :) and oh, you're forgiven...it'll take a while, but i'll get over it all ;-D hehe jk =) Khuda Haafiz! |

| Bismillah and salam, Wallahi Saleema i have nothing in my heart to you except good. Please forgive me as well if I ever transgressed against your rights as my sister. I wish you the best insha'Allah in all the plans you mentioned in the future. May Allah give you tawfeeq and guide you and keep you steadfast on the path that pleases Him. Please do not be a stranger to the board. As you have seen in the thread about people here..many people including me as i told you before find that you have lots of insightful and analytical input to the board masha'Allah. |

You didn’t think I’d let you go without at least saying salaams did you now? ;) I’m saddened by the news of your departure from the Board, for it will deprive us of one whose passion is equalled by her clamour to be all that she can, in the khidmat [service] of this Deen. I wonder what I might have done that you deem it necessary to deny us the opportunity to benefit by you, bi’ithnillah ta’ala. :) Ironically your leaving the Board comes the day after I myself ventured back, albeit somewhat unobtrusively, and not necessarily on any kind of regular basis. :) I cannot imagine why you missed my posts, but if you wish to wade through the post I authored yesterday, more to your peril, then you may find it in the Ummah Community Center, in the thread ‘Faith...Logic...Relativity. Man it's driving me nuts.’ I forewarn you it is loooong. But then what else would you expect from this unworthy brother of yours? :) I pray Allah ta’ala continues to ennoble you by your example and striving, that He (awj) always safeguards you, and grants you istiqama [steadfastness]. May He (swt) preserve you, and enable you to continue being a mujaahida in His (awj) path. If you would have the magnanimity to forgive me for any occasion I brought a heaviness to you due to my inability to express myself more gently, in a manner befitting one who Allah ta’ala has allowed to be your brother in this Deen, by His (awj) Grace and Favour upon me, I would be indebted and grateful. | SALEEMA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so sad to read this post. I know what it is like to be busy and have to much to do, but it doesn't make it any easier to see a friend go. I really liked reading your posts and responses. I hope you do check in on us from time to time and let us know how you're doing. And I hope some of my strong opinions never offended you, I always try to be respectful even if I don't agree with a person, But I think you went to bat for me in a couple posts few months ago. | Aww, Well really sad to hear you go, I guess it takes strength in a person to say something like this. Just like life eh, people come, spend a little time in life and then move onto the nx life. Hurts the heart that you knew someone and now they move on. I know my times coming as well, where you simply move on to other things. A thousand apologies if I've upset you in the past. Your a kewl Sis, you've helped me in that past which I won't forget and insha-allah I hope everything will work out for you. | [slm] Howdy fellow Texan sister in Islam :) Why do I have a feeling you're not gonna be able to stick to your word and stay away for too long? :) Insha Allah you'll soon realize the impossibility of staying away from this board, and make your way back in here like the Prodigal Son! But, in case this *is* a real farewell ... I pray to Allah (swt) to keep you strong in your Deen, wherever you go. May He shower you with hikmah, rahmah, and tawfeeq in whatever you do. May He reward you for every good word that you have uttered on this board, and there are many of them, and forgive you for any shortcomings. I ask you to please make the same du'aa for me, and forgive me if I have ever unintentionally said something to offend you! You know, you were one of the biggest reasons why I joined the old board! Remember that post that you wrote about a vision that you had in your dream, that scared the daylights out of you, and you got up and started reading Qur'an? Subhan Allah! I read that post and I was like, "I *have* to come to this place more often!" Take care. Don't lose hope for ISGH. I know that's a tough thing to do :) If you ever play princess in a b-ball game, I'll root for you, insha Allah (since she made fun of my basketball skillz, ahem). Alright, enough from me. "Ka wukht di pidah kee, par “board” rasa khaburee wuka." Do check the board when you get a chance - And no i dont speak pushto - just got it translated from some one :) |
