Assalaamu-alaikum

All those who have decided to join the Dawa Group, please join this thread, all those who would like to join, please feel free to join.

We have decided to form a Dawa coalition, and i think the first place we should go to is the BBC Religion Forums, and give Dawa thier.

The current discussion going on thier is the war on islaam (terror). So what appraoch do we take?

My feelings are this

1) We should support the mujaahideen.

2) We must make them realise we muslim believe its a war on islaam.

3) We must support the mujahideen, yet not gloat over thier dead Soldeirs

4) We must give reasons why we support the mujaahideen, islaamically, and whay we feel the afghans were brutalised, and murdered, and that its our duty to help defend these people against the murderous US.

5) We must hold firm we are muslim fundamentalists, but explain what TRUE fundamentalism is, and how this is not terrorism.

Any thoughts, please feel free to add!

asalamu alaikum

i think dawah wouldn't necessarily HAVE to include talkign about militancy.

I four  main aim is to turn people on about Islam, that can be done.. but don't forget that reaction to mujahideen can be negative too.

And check this out:

are we for dawah,

or justifying other muslims actiosn?

Just lemme know what u got in mind, but i think if there is disagreement with us, then it will be hard to run.

For one, the terrorist activity or anythign that can percieved a such is tough to endorse, as is certain mujahideen action if people don't know islam...

lets see what we can do, but we gotta know, is this, a Call to Islam or the Big Justification? aslamau alaikum. abdullah,.
