The Islamic Circle of North America is pleased to announce the "Best of the Year Awards" for the year 2001.

The Glorious Qur'an says:

"And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward."

[Surah Al-Anfal   8:28]

Our youth are the future of this Ummah, the ambassadors of Islam and the flag-bearers of this Deen. They are the "amanah" (trust) that God
has placed with us.  Their "tarbiyah" is our duty, and is crucial for the betterment of the community. It is an integral part of striving for the cause of Allah (SWT).

In order to recognize and encourage all round development in our youth, the Islamic Circle of North America has organized the "Best of the Year" Awards  for the year 2001 to be held at Rutgers University,
Paul Robeson Campus, Newark on March 16, 2002.

Awards will be presented to outstanding youth who have been nominated by thier peers, for their all round excellence in Islamic knowledge and practice, sports, academics, and Islamic activism.

Participate in this event and help us in working for a better future for us and our youth Inshallah.

"To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) towards all that is good. wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you together. For Allah Hath power over all things."
[Surah Al-Baqarah 2:148]
