Assalamu Alaikum, y'all! My name is Othman and I am totally new to the Madinah boards.  However, due to a constant nagging from my wife (Jenna) asking me to join, I finally decided to do it; although I won't deny that over the past few days I have been rather anxious to join;  you see, she has been BOASTING about the number of messages she has posted, and last night I had enough! LOL  so I told her I'd probably match and double the number of messages she has posted in no time, and she went as far as daring me to do so... can you believe that? DARING ME!  Well, I am not one to pass a good dare when one comes my way, so I'm taking it.  From here on, we shall see who is the 'smartest' in our family.  Isn't that how you put it, Jenna? Of all the nerve! ;-) Well, now, what can I tell you about me?  I am a hispanic Muslim (or Muslim hispanic, however you like it), 27 years old. Or is it 28?  Oh well.  Guess that proves who's the smartest one already, huh?  Yeah right.   Anyways, I am 27 y/o, currently residing in the United Snakes of America, hoping to move to a Muslim land soon, inshaAllah!  May Allah make it possible in the best of ways, ameen. I have been a muslim for nearly 7 years, alhamdulillah, and I am constantly working on my deen, inshaAllah striving to please Allah (SWT).  Any help from you all in this matter will be greeatly appreciated! ;-) I am married to a wonderlful loving sweetest wife and have a beautiful, loving, grubby, big-mouthed son.  They have made my life hapier than it had ever been, and I honestly don't know how I got along without them.  My wife has helped me grow in so many ways (yes, besides my belly) and I am ever grateful to Allah (SWT) for blessing me with this wonderful family. I am currently taking an Arabic class (second semester, alhamdulillah), and my Arabic alhamdulillah is improving.  ;-) Well, I've sort of given you an overview 'bout meself.  Hope y'all like me and we can get to be good e-friends! While on the other hand, the brotherhood has gone down, their isn't the unity or bonding we had before.  Maybe this calls for a revival movement?  The re-emergence of M.O.M. ? ???
