| As-Salaamu-Alaikum, I had a friend that attended the ICNA conference in Atlanta, GA and stated how wonderful it was. She sat in at a lecture by a Caucasian Christian that believed in one God and that Muhammad was his last messenger. Forgive me for the labels, but this is absolutely unusual for me in comparison with Caucasians that I encounter everyday. I was astounded to hear this. Like those that try to speak the truth, an attempt has been made on his life at one of his speaking engagements where three men from the Jewish Defense League shot at him. It was the grace of Allah that he did not move an inch, because the bullet grazed by his ear. Another time he received a letter that appeared odd, and he had the police check it out which turned out to be a letter bomb. Through him I see the progress we can make as Muslims and the power of Allah in backing us. You cannot live your life in fear to speak the truth. We have to trust in Allah and know that he is the power of all things. He has books out, and I think a website. I will get the information from my friend, and post it. I believe his name is William Baker. I'm not definite on the first name. Masalaam |

| Assalamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullah, They showed it live on Islamicity.com. Not sure if they showed it whole 5 days, but I watched a part of it live. I haven't checked, but islamicity.com might have the recorded lectures on, as they have from last year's. Sad news though, islamicity is not free anymore. But we gotta reach our pockets to keep up the good work:) Wassalam. |
