| [slm] [i](I could not find the other post in the archives,so please forgive me for reposting. After jannah and se7en's postings on how to search... I was a bit timid to ask...)[/i] Our Dawah Center will be doing a Hajj display at the Museum and Center, Insha Allah. We want to the message that not all Muslims are Arabs by displaying scarves from all over the world. uh... we even used some of the scarves sent to us in this years Ramadan Display! If anyone wants to contribute.a scarf; we are also looking for male head coverings, send me an e-mail and I will send you my address. Any ideas on how to artfully display them? UMM WAFI! I received yours today! They are gorgeous! Jazak Allahu Khirun. Were they made in Singapore? |

| [slm] Woohoooo the American Postal Service finally stopped sniffing at my packages. The scarves were mixed Sis. Two of them were made in Indonesia and the blue one made in Malaysia. As for displaying them. U can enlarge the map of the country/countries of scarf origin and give factfile like how many Muslims there, languages they use, history of introduction of Islam to the region. Wallahua'alam. | you know how they have a (filleen..the white stuff) for dummies heads without features drawn...like in the hair stylists? Maybe you can do that to display them. After the display is finished do you exchange scarves between everyone who joined they get another ladies scarf??? That would be fun |
