| salam alaikum, i just read a book by harun yahya about matter and how its illusion. it was really good at first, going into science and stuff, but then it started getting stranger to me. then it said things i have NEVER heard before.. :o does he follow the AhlulSunnah wa Jamaah? what is his manhaj?? has anyone read his book about matter?? |

Mashaallah he is very knoweldgeable and many a times opened my eyes to the beauty of science and how it resonates with Islam. | salam alaikum, i did read everything about him on the site, but it didnt answer my questions :) the book i read is called Matter: the other name for illusion. if you guys go and read it and can comment, id really appreciate it. i cant even explain what bothered me, you just have to read it. i wish someone knew.. :( |

| slm, hmm truthfinder, i've read a lot of his books.. i tend to like them i did read one of his books where towards the end he was getting into alot of metaphysics and high level philosophy and stuff and after awhile it was like wayyy over my head... a lot of references to people and theories and stuff.. is that what ur talking about? |

Based on what I have read and heard about him, he is a sunni muslim. I've read and seen his work on matter and whatever he has said on the subject, most of it has been said before by previous muslim scholars and I tend to believe his theories. |

Take the example of this particular web-page. What is it made up of? What are the images made up of? How are they stored? Do you know how a file is written to the disk? | i wasn't worried about the science part of the book. it was more about the aqeedah of it. like about the time and how Allah has everything in His memory. the snap shots, ect.. If you read it, please comment on it. It just seemed very strange to me because Ive never heard of anything like this before. (and i read a lot) jazak Allah khair |

| In The Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful. Aslaamo Aleykum, everyone. I have just discovered this website, MashAllah its very good. This Subject about Harun Yahya caught my eye. Truthfinder are you still worried about the book:- MATTER: The Other Name For Illusion If so maybe I can help. I read many of his books in detail. I personally think that his works are great, and he is a great deepthinker, the sort of deep thinking that Allah has called our attention to in the Quran. He is one who has really got a great grasp OF Allah's signs and a proper understanding of the Quran. He has really understood the verses in the Quran in which Allah calls anyone who is willing to, to see the signs of Allah in living thigs and the world around us. For instance in this verse: Allah has created the Heavens and the Earth in truth: Verily in that is a sign for those who believe Al-Ankabut-verse 44. or And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scaterred (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured faith. Al-Jathiya-verse 4 There are many more verses like this as Im sure you will know. So if you need any help about that book put a message out and Will tell you in detail. Finally I dont know who this "SH. SHUAIB WEBB" is but I suggest that he read Harun Yahya's books carefully with the intelligence Allah has given him, Harun Yahya in no way implies that Allah "lives" in everything. Harun Yahya is saying that the power of Allah is behind everything, and that all living things and the universe can only be created by a Superior Wisdom, Intelligence, "Allah". Just as Allah describes himself that My signs are there if only anyone will care to look. Saying that Allah lives in evrything, this is absurd. Harun quotes himself in many of his books this verse: Is He Who creates like on that creates not? Will ye not recieve admonition? An-Nahl-verse 17 So if He who creates isnt like what he creates, then, how is he living in everything he creates.Read the books carefully dont flick through them, May Allah bestow you with understanding InshAllah. | [slm] I read "The Evolution Deceit" by Harun Yahya. It was an excellent read untill the last chapter where he started saying that nothing really exists anyway... "Matrix" kind of stuff. So I just stopped reading (too much detail :P) and left it at that. |
