| Calling all College, Highschool, and Graduate Students! (Ages 16 and up) The MSA's of New York and New Jersey present: MSA NATIONAL EAST ZONE CONFERENCE "The Continious Struggle: Maintaining Our Faith" "O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty? You Shall believe in Allah and His Messanger, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, if ye but knew!" [Quran 61:10-11] Life is a continuous circle, and so is our spiritual struggle. We encounter daily issues that we struggle with and wonder how to keep that circle going. The conference will focus on topics that deal with living Islam, not just learning it. We will take a look at how Islam can be practiced in our everyday lives, by fulfilling the commands of Allah (swt) when it comes to serving your purpose here on earth. Along with prayer, your life should have a meaning and you can fulfill your duty as a Muslim by following a career path which will benefit Muslims and make you an example of a Muslim living Islam. PLEASE try and register ASAP and be sure to reserve your spot! Last year's MSA East Zone Conference which was hosted by Temple U had to turn people away because they had reached their maximum amount of participants. Alhumdulialh, the confirmed speakers has been extended and now includes: Imaam siraj Wahhaj, Imaam Mokhtar Maghraoui, Imaam Zaid Shakir, and Sheikh Muhammad al Shareef! | As-salaamu alaikum I know its been a MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE since I've been on....I dont even know anyone now, so many new ppl.....anyhow...I think this is a great opportunity for the *mafiosa to come down and visit me (and of course to meet madina ppl)....another excuse ;) insha'allah I'll be there...but u know me and my BORING LIFE :(... aight me outs * for those of you who dont know...you dont NEED to know ;) naaahh...im just being lazy and dont want to explain.....anyhow....I'll try to drop a few lines here and there...aight peace L 8) |

| Salaams Say word its only 10min...are u sure??? so you are saying from pen station (34th st) I can take a train to edision, nj and it will take only 10min or from that stop edison its only 10 min to the conference??? yeah im a bit out of it...taking a break from reading... :P aight bro thanks peace L 8) |

no....from that stop(edison), conf hotel is only 10 mins away... 34th to edison will prolly be like 40 mins... (i dont like train...wastes a lot of time, but you always get time to read lotsa books..finished quite a few..:) ) ya salam |

BE sure to reigster with your MSA and get the group rate of $69 for groups of 20 ppl or more insha'Allah. The Early registration deadline is faaaasssttttlyyyy approaching so please register ASAP! as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, The EZ conf was *awesome* :) Here's the duaa that Sh. Ramadan as-Sabagh said in Qiyaam this past weekend. He brought the entire jamaa' to tears with his recitation. His voice is recorded here, but like Imam Zaid Shakir said at the conference, nothing can replace being in the close proximity of your brothers and sisters, hearts close to one another. http://www.digitaliss.com/~usheikh/duaezconf.ram May Allah accept our duaas, ameen.
