as-Salamu `alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
al-Hamdulillah, was-Salatu was-salamu `ala Rasoolillah

Firstly, I recommend reading, "In Defence of Mary", a letter sent to clergy in the UK after BBC recently broadcasted a disparaging program about Maryam (mother of `Isa, `alayhis salam), about whom the Qur'an says:
"And (remember) when the angels said, 'O Maryam! Verily Allah has chosen you, and purified you and has selected you over the women of all the beings.'" [Aal `Imran (3):42]

There is a lot to learn from the article that you can use in da`wah.

Ironically, those Christian fundamentalists who nowadays attack the
Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, are only following the footsteps of the Jews who used to attack `Isa, the Christians' own Prophet, and his mother.  All while forgetting it was Muhammad,  sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, who defended `Isa and Maryam from the accusations of the Jews.  But then, there is a lot more that is ironic about those "Zionist Anti-Semites", which is what the Fundamentalist Christians really are.  An article defending our Prophet, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, by posting additional brilliant evidences in favor of his prophethood, will be posted
soon, in shaa' Allah.  While at it, I would recommend visiting

O Allah! Guide us to the Straight Path, the path of those upon whom you have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. Aameen.

BENEFITING FROM KNOWLEDGE (11 January 2003)
By Imam Ibn ul Jawzee

"I met a group from the people of hadeeth who memorized and knew a
lot, however they would permit backbiting under the guise of jarh wa
ta'deel ("accreditation and disreputation", science of criticism of narrators), they would take monetary payment in return for narrating hadeeth, and they would be hasty in giving answers, even if they are wrong, lest their status diminishes.

I met Abdulwahaab Al-Anmaatee, he used to be upon the methodology of
the salaf. One would never hear backbiting in his gatherings nor would he take payment for teaching hadeeth. Whenever I read a hadeeth that contained in it a heart-softener, he used to cry continuously. I was very young at that time, (but) his crying affected my heart. He had the calm of those whose description we hear about from the narrations."
