| RALLY AGAINST WAR IN IRAQ SAY NO TO WAR ON MARTIN LUTHER KING WEEKEND (Washington, DC -- 1/2/2003) MAS Freedom Foundation is calling on the Muslim community nationwide to join a national march on Washington, DC, marking the Martin Luther King anniversary weekend and the 12th anniversary of the Gulf War. Protestors will demand a halt to the Bush administration's agitation for war on Iraq, the Israeli occupation of Palestine, and an assault on the civil liberties of Muslims and all other Americans. Endorsers and initiators of the march include MAS Freedom Foundation, International ANSWER Coalition, Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Muslim Students' Association of the US/Canada, Mexico Solidarity Network, Free Palestine Alliance, Black Voices for Peace, and the National Lawyers Guild.
