| [slm] I just wanted to know how short females cana have their hair. I know it's not meant to resemble thaa of a man's but I don't really understand that. Does that just mean that a female can't have closely shaven hair? But can women have their hair up to their chins/necks/shoulders? I know that this is probably a weird question but I'd really like your answers/suggestions. wa salaam |

| Brother Abu atheek That is not the right hadeeth number in kitabul hayd. could you try to find out what it is? My understanding in listening to lectures by scholars that the sunnah for women is to follow ummahat almu'mineen and they ALL may Allah be pleased with them, had long hair unless they were doing 7jama how they used to suck blood or use heat to get rid of illness. in fact one of them was burried with her hair totally shaven in that case but they can see the traces of the 7jama on her scalp. |
