| Assalamu'alaikum, Just wanna share a poem someone wrote, dedicated to me, mashaAllah... I was sooo touched... *snif* *snif* Hope you'll like it, inshaAllah. [color=blue] [u]FASBIR SABRAN JAMEELAH[/u] I never felt the way I feel now As I flip through the mushaf Reading the translated Qur'anic verses Striking my heart with tears of insaf. Fasbir sabran jameelah Patience with beauty Not mere patience to reality Patience in persistence Seeking truth and things we see Patience with hopes to Allah the Almighty. Because it is not us who possess power Powerfulness is not our nature Naturally the ONE WHO can make things happen Is none other but HIM HIM when HE wills it will undeniably occur And no one can deter No matter what others may prefer. So fasbir sabran jameelah A lesson I learn To be patience with grace and persevere Because I am HIS creation and HIS 'abd And only HE can forsee deep inside The very intention I place in my heart. ~Haniah Abdul Hamid~[/color] |
