There are a lot of articles out there, calling on the ummah to awaken. Here is another. A few confused and bundled words to add to the hundreds of calls to awaken circulating out there, like needles to prick our hardened conscience... Calling to this sleeping lion to open its eyes and take the lions share, for we Muslims were never meant to be suppressed. Look at this pitiful station in this world that we have fallen to, this comes about because we have abandoned the true guidance that should map our lives, rather we clutch at man-made laws whose fallibility is obvious to the very men who bring it into practice. Politics. Jihaad. Massacres. Humiliation. Atrocities. We are aware. We know what is happening. Some do not.. Someone has got to tell them. And it is getting out, albeit slowly. That's a start. But make sure that when you spend your hours on the net searching out what's happening all over the world, and it pierces deep into your heart and mind, and you feel engulfed, and you feel as if your heart will break, and you feel shackled unable to break free, make sure that this knowledge will not testify against you on the day of judgement. You knew. You were able. You did not respond. It will be your fault. Period. The bodies have become lazy. Heavy. Food, drink, dunya. Shame on you. This earth is not your home. It is a station. And when it is time, you will go to the next. The last station of them all. Make sure that when it is time, you will be taken in dignity. And not while you were in front of the TV watching with your nice hot cup of tea, watching as babies died and mothers cried. Killings in Palestine? Massacres in Bosnia? Rapes of our dear sisters in Kashmir? Happening throughout the muslim lands? its happening far away, I hear you say, I hear about it every day, tell me something new...Switch over, watch the weather. Yes, Muslim blood has become cheap in our own eyes too. Do you think that anyone would touch a people who possessed a grain of self-dignity? Who stuck together, proud of their faith, who stuck together, through their minute differences, stuck together, united on tauheed, united on a faith that should hold the world in sway...they would not touch us, not with a infinitely long pole. The ummah has split, the lands are barren, hearts sealed, eyes blinded and ears stuffed with cotton. We are truly, truly suffocating. But it is the west that has infiltrated our hearts, TV, $, TV, $, TV, proclaiming filth in the name of freedom. Throw in some immorality with good measure. We are drowning in it. We have lost our way, like scattered sheep. The wolves have attacked. And we have fallen in a shameful style. Think about it. It has happened to countries before. See what happened. See what happened when they embraced so called freedom and modernism. They are now chained to the west. Shackled, looked down upon, no voice. Trampled upon moreover, divided in themselves, at each others throats. Jihaad! Jihaad! Jihaad!...the voices cry loud, the hearts thump hard... Are you prepared? Has your soul tasted the fruit of patience? Have you tested your bodies with hunger, thirst, exertion? when the time comes, will you be ready to respond? Will you have the strength to strive without a stomach full of food? without water? go without those long hot baths? Those pillows all fluffed up, and duvets spread wide, we are swimming in comforts. You may be tested. Will you have the faith to survive them? Will a soul devoid of faith be able to take on the extreme hatred of the kuffar who are striving to destroy the very foundations of our deen? We were once strong. We were once powerful. We were once respected. We WERE. Note past tense. Think why. Think why we fell. But we have something precious. We have the promise of Allah. He has told us what we need to do. Alhamdulillah, we have the guidance. We can be saved. There is a chance. Think how. How NOW. The future will revolve around NOW. Pull up your socks why don't you, and burst the bubbles you live in. There is a lot to do. This ummah has fallen low, the lion sleeps deeply, but by the will of Allah, it can be a force to be reckoned with. May Allah forgive our sins, our laziness, our miserable efforts. Oh Allah, lift the seals from our hearts, clear our eyes and let us hear again. For we are lost without your guidance Allah, Lost, lost, lost. O Allah, You are the rich, we are the poor, guide us in our weakness Allah and make us strong, forgive all our sins and free our hearts and minds from the heavy shackles of this world that are weighing heavily on our souls and preventing us from attaining the heights we so heartfully desire in the hereafter. O Allah, help us in this so that we may achieve mercy and success in the next life, and grant us the spark to fuel us through this life and make your law supreme on this earth. This is but a expression, an expression of a soul that is chained and cannot break free, but you who can, you who are able, you, get out there, and make us proud. Go out there and don't look back, for he who looks at this world with love in his heart is surely ignorant of the excellence of the next. Seek the pleasure of Allah, be sincere, and leave this world behind in its totality. Strive like there is no tomorrow... You, who feel for the little ones that are in a pitiful state, you who feel for the honour of your sisters, you who feel for your slaughtered brothers, it is you I address. You who feel the hurt and pain that is growing day by day, do not wait for another day, not even one. Seek it now, and may Allah guide you in your path. May Allah guide us all, Ameen. |
