“Will they not ponder upon the Qur’an or are there locks on their hearts?”

As we travel through the journey of life, headed back to our Lord, we encounter an enumerable number of doors which, if remained closed will lead to our ultimate failure and demise.  The doors of spirituality, practice, and faith serve as invaluable assets in turning our lives into rich and wholesome experiences. However if these doors remain locked, or one is unable to open them, then one will be doomed for a gloomy existence. Thus, mankind’s need and reliance for revelation and connection with Allah, His books and His Messengers (as) is necessitated by the need to open these doors and enter them correctly. Join us for 6 important sessions elucidating one of the important keys we have to opening these doors and maintaining ourselves on the path of our Lord and His pleasure. Al-Fatiha the opening chapter of the Qur’an literally translated as the opener, if understood and practiced, will serve as the important key to the opening of one’s success in this life and the Hereafter.

The explanation of Surah Al-Fatiha and its effect on the training of the Muslim are a series of six lectures given by Sheikh Suhaib Webb of the Islamic American University. Join us each Wednesday evening from January 29th  through March 12th for this exciting and enlightening session at the MCA Santa Clara C.A. http://www.mca-sfba.org.  The Prophet (sa) said about Al-Fatiha that, “It is the greatest surah of the Qur’an.”

Khalid bin M’adaan said, “There is no person except that he has four eyes. The first are the eyes related to seeing good in this worldly life and what will benefit the servant in it. And these are the eyes found in the face with which we see. The second is the eyes in the heart of the servant with which he sees his religion with and what Allah has promised him from the unseen. Thus, if Allah desires good for a servant He grants this servant sight to see those things that are good for him in this life and good for him in the Hereafter. And if Allah desires other then that, then He blots out the servant’s ability to see. The he recited, “Will they not  ponder upon the Qur’an or are there locks on the hearts?” Surah Muhammad verse 24.
