Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah  :-)
Insha Allah start with our guest room.  Then we'll tell you what else there is to see :)
Actually Rabat where I live is kind of boring, but if you arrive in the Casablanca airport and would like to head north towards Fes Rabat's a good rest stop.  Actually Salé, accross the river from Rabat is more interesting.
Fes is a must-see.  And Meknes since it's only a 30 mn drive from Fes.  So is Marrakech which is way south of Casablanca.  My parents and sister and her family live there.  My brother in law and dad would be happy to serve as guides :)
If you'd like to head into the desert it's beautiful, though I've never been there myself.  I mean the dunes.  I've been to desert towns where my hubby's family live, it's not the same, it's mostly rocky flatland there.
There's a beautiful tiny little town on the coast, Assila.  I love it though it's really small, and only a place you'd stop for a night on the way to somewhere else, like Tangier (it's North of Rabat).  I don't know much about Tangier though, so I can't recommend the North.  People mostly go there to shop for blackmarket stuff from Spain.  I wouldn't recommend it for Islamic tourism ;)
If I think of anything else I'll add it later insha Allah.
