| Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah, There will be a Muslim Film Festival in the Fall of 2003 organized by some dedicated Muslims. The purpose is to give Muslim film makers an opportunity to showcase their work as well as to encourage more Muslims to indulge in media related fields. Muslims from anywhere can submit their work to be showcased. We're currently planning on holding the festival at a couple of college campuses, such as UC-Berkley, San Jose State University, UC-Santa Cruz and one or two more. We are currently accepting entries. All submmited films must adhere to the Shar'iah. If you're interested in having your work showcased, or if you know any Muslim film makers then please pass the word along. If you are active in any of the Masjids and would like to market this event there then please let us know and we can arrange some posters for you.
