Jannah, how did you know that they were from Palestine ??? or Muslim hackers ???

Have you ever thought that one hacking group can lead to a discrimination to others, if your not sure of what took place, did you loook at the syslogs ??? Did you look at the IP address of where it was coming from or was it spoofed ? How do you know that a well placed OBL page isn't an attempt to further divide the Muslims ? Most hacking activity stems from America and Israel. Palestinian groups don't have electricity, to turn the light in the toilet on.

When a hacking attack does take place, it takes ages to find out who the culprit is. Sorry for sounding a bit harsh.

Hanif so you're saying it was israeli's or american's posting that up to make like it was muslims/palestinians? somehow i find that hard to believe. Not only that, I've known and talked to "Muslim hackerz" and this is exactly the type of stuff they do unfortunately.

Some of the most l33t hackers come from Pakistan (I'm not saying this as being good or bad. Just a fact). So it's not entirely true that "Most hacking activity stems from America and Israel".

Did you know the first virus was also written by a disgruntled Pakistani bank employee?

Still having one foot in the dark ages I have to ask....how on Earth do you determine that a web page is being hackad, and where the people are from?

Peace and Curiosity,

Ahh that art of h@ckz0rs ...

Well you know a page is hacked when you go to a page that you regularly visit and see content that is totally different than what it usually looks like.

Other more suttle hacks include changing links on the page to go to other pages that the hackers have control of, those are really the dangerous kinds, because you might be filling out some online purchase form and absent mindedly click without checking out the secure transaction details. e.g. click the padlock key in the status bar of your browser and look at the details of the digital certificate.

Speaking of h@ckz0rs anyone here remember Kevin Mitnick? Yeah the same guy from the "FREE KEVIN" campaign. Well he's been out of prison for a few years now and has started his own security consulting firm, but ppl keep shunning him because of his shady history.
