Please pray for the welfare of Muslims all over the world, esp Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir and Chechnya. May ALlah protect us and save us from the evil plans of those who stand against Faith. | Assalamu'alaikum! Today I saw the sheep getting off the truck to the mosque compound! And I was like.. we NEED a sheep dog! The brothers are not really doing a good job, coaxing the sheep to get off the truck *ahem*. :) Anyways.. its Eid tommorrow.. Wednesday, inshaALlah... so, we'll be celebrating it with you too :) I hope I'll be able to wake up early, and go to the mosque, listen to the khutbah and watch the qurban, inshaALlah. Last time I did something interesting during Eidul adha was 6 years ago... it was sooo funny.. it was my first time, packing the meat.. and it was sooo warm... I have never felt warm fresh meat before plus I smell of sheep! yikes! with blood all over me.. and all I did was pack! OK, OK.. so, the butcher was not too far away. But I think the brothers had more fun chasing after the sheep..., and get all dirty. We worked till late in the afternoon.. and I wish I have a clean change of clothes.. but I didn't.. so.. whoeva smelt the stench of a sheep smelling girl in a bus 6 years ago.. well.. *ahem*... forgive her :) To all my Madinan family... May Allah grant us, our family and our brothers and sisters the world over...a joyous Eid, a peaceful Eid, a selfless Eid... May Allah accept all of our deeds, as well as the hajj of those who have received the invitation of Allah, to His Haram. May Allah grant us protection from war and hostility, from greed and anger, from injustice and oppression. Ameen. Take care, everyone! | [slm] Wednesday here too...even though half of Toronto is celebrating it on Tuesday. Anyway, Eid Mubarak to everyone... yummmyyyy food (for the first time in a month and a half)...anyone in Toronto who has extra food...just send it this way :) Wasalaam. SF. |

And how better to introduce myself to you all but with a Happy Eid everyone and in shaa Allah next year we all perform the Hajj -the best Hajj by starting from the masjid Alaqsa and ending in almasjid Alharam, :) ps why do you have so many pepsis haven't you boycotted them? just curious. wa salam |
