G.M.T. 14 Muslims killed in hajj stampede Fourteen Muslim pilgrims were crushed to death and several others injured during a stampede at the "stoning the devil" ritual near the holy city of Mecca. "Fourteen pilgrims died and others were lightly injured following a huge crowd rush in Mina," General Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed bin Said, commander of security forces in Mecca, cited by the official SPA news agency. "Three women were among the pilgrims killed," the general said Tuesday. |

| Inna lillah.... Our Makkah correspondent was saying that there was hardly any crowd control and I was hoping nothing like this would happen :( |
