| Amongst the benefits of Dhikr: 1. Sustenance for both the heart and soul 2. Drives away Shaytan 3. Pleases Al-Rahman 4. Dispels worry from the qalb 5. Adorns the qalb with delight and joy 6. Fills the heart and face with light 7. Cloaks the one who remembers Allah with dignity, gentleness and freshness 8. Instils hub for Allah 9. Fear of Him 10. Relating all matters to Him 11. Enhance’s Allah’s rememberance of His servant 12. Remedies hard hearts 13. Increases a servants witnesses on the DOJ 14. A means which prevent disobedience by the tongue 15. Opens the gates to Allaah “Alaa bidhikr illaah tatma’inul-quloob?” “Surely in the rememberance of Allaah to hearts find rest” (13:28) Deen |

| [slm] Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, rahimahullaahu ta'aala, lists more than 70 benefits of dhikr in his work [i]Al-Waabil Al-Sayyib Min Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib[/i] (The Invocation of God)!
