Bismillaah was-Salaatu was-Salaam 'alaa Rasoolillaah
as-Salaamu 'alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu

Dear Sister

Are you interested in studying
TAJWEED
- the art of reciting the Qur'an correctly,
something which is fard ayn (an individual obligation) on every Muslim?

"Draw near to Allaah as much as you are able
and know that you will never be able to draw near to him with anything
more beloved to him than His words (the Qur'aan)"
(Khabbab, narrated by al-Haakim)

If so, then perhaps you can take a few minutes to fill out this
questionnaire,
in order to facilitate organising classes in the near future.

At present the sister who has agreed to teach is open to the idea of
teaching in the West London (Southhall or Muntada as possible
locations), North London
or South London areas, depending on the demand and the feasibility
(time/travel restraints).
Unfortunately at this time nothing can be offered to the sisters in
the
East London area as this teacher will not be able to travel there.
HOWEVER If there were to be a sufficient demand from sisters from the
area it is possible that something similar could be arranged with
another teacher.
The sister would appreciate it if you can fill in as many fields as
possible, although all questions are optional,
as this will make organising classes much easier - please bear in mind
that this is the sole objective behind the questions,
and so one should not feel intimidated if they have not studied any
aspect of tajweed before, or have memorised a smaller amount from the
Qur'aan or do not know any Arabic -
the sister has reiterated that this is solely so she can have an idea
of
how to structure the lessons, what the content would be and what levels
people are at.
[You may email the completed questionnaires as word document
attachments
if you prefer - the sister would appreciate if it was done as soon as
possible.]
If you are not interested yourself please pass this onto any sisters
that you know in the London area. Jazaakillaah Khair.
Wassalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu
