| http://www.nyu.edu/clubs/islamcenter/deen/ The Islamic Center presents our 1st ever Retreat Imam Ghazali, rahimullah, once wrote to a student "Knowledge without action is insanity, and action without knowledge is vanity...." in hopes of illustrating the importance of aquiring knowledge for every Muslim. Today, Muslims all over the world attempt to seek knowledge in hopes of better understanding their deen--and what better way to develop this understanding than by understanding The One Who Knows Everything? To these ends, the Islamic Center of New York University would like to invite all seekers of knowledge to its first ever deen intensive retreat entitled, "Al-Aleem: Getting to Know the All-Knowing". Join us for three days and two nights insha'Allah as we seek to strengthen our relationship with Allah, subhanahu wa'tala, through a series of lectures, workshops, halaqas, and recreational events. May Allah bless us with knowledge that benefits us, may He bless us with the taufeeq to understand and implement this knowledge into our daily lives, and may He guide and bless us all!
