Zabihaa meat question

Salam all. I wanted to know whether those of you not living in a Muslim country eat only Zabiha(Halal) meat or are more liberal when it comes to non-vegetarian eating habits. Where I live in the US, I know of many good, well-off, and practising Muslims who eat anything out of Macs or Burger King, claiming that it is permissible to eat everything at these outlets minus the pork products. What do you think about this issue? If anybody would be kind enough to shed some light. One more thing to bear in mind is that its not like these people are unable to afford the slightly costly Halal meat.   [Admin Note: Salam, It's probably better if you got this information from your local Imam, knowledgeable person as there are differences of opinon on this issue.]
