Silent Tears Flow on No man’s Land.

May be I am naïve to cry for the voiceless
Those armless babies and desperate mothers
When people are dying to go to war
People are dying in war
People are dying
All over
In the name of peace
And manufactured freedom

[glow=red,2,300]Are my scalding tears hot enough
To burn consciousness into humanity?[/glow]

Monuments are built behind closed doors
Collateral blood irrigates lands abroad
When the masses wail who voices their woes?

Maybe I am naïve enough to wait at the
Station
Clutching my bags,
I am boarding the peace train
The one that has no destination
For the world is set ablaze
Fireballs of hatred
Ignorance
Spirit diffusion
Amidst this confusion my soul can no longer
Bear this searing pain

I call to humanity
A fervent echo
To the screaming silence
Of the millions
Wake up
Don’t sleep through the
American dream
A grotesque nightmarish
Reality
Haunting bleeding mothers
Seeping the horrors
Out of their babies
Plundering the weeping earth
Gushing the blood of the
Dead fathers
Dead societies
Dead futures

Stand up for justice
Before the day you will be
Called to witness
The blood dripping from
Your own hands
Innocent eyes imploring
To know why
Our silence co-opted
Their torturous demise.

Salam, my dear sis...

MashaALlah... I read your poem, while listening to Peace Train...  *snif snif*

I pray that the multitude of hearts, who are impacted by the deep echoes of your heart will form the peace train.. making these lands come back to  Darussalam... the abode of peace... take us home again.

A journey of hardship and pain, tears, blood and wounded hearts and jasad.

Who would be a part of the Peace train?

Man ansari ilaAllah?

As said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples,
"Who will be my helpers to (the work of) God?"
Said the disciples, "We are God's helpers!"
then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: But We gave power to those who believed,
against their enemies,
and they became the ones that prevailed.
Surah As Saf 61:14

Ma Shaa Allah......Very Nice Sister Maliha........
I took your suggestion Sister Barr and listened to "Peace Train" while reading too..... pretty touching.......
Nobody is wanting suffering...... not in war..... not in life..... in all the bad it's nice to find the expression of togetherness, and concern for more than self....... Ya Allah.........Subhan Allah
