| Salaam to everyone Here is an idea posted by a muslim brother on another site. May Allah (SWT) help us in fulfilling this idea in the near future insha Allah. YSII :-) ************************************************************A Tawheed March !!! Is scheduled to be performed on Saturday July 5th, 2003 at noon In accordance with our responsibility as Muslims and in the spirit of all of Allah's Messengers, on every continent, every country, every region, every state, every province, every city and village where they dwell, Muslims shall bring Islam to the World. It's a day to tell the world about what Islam is based upon, the same way all of Allah's Prophets and Messengers Salallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam did This shall be done all over the world, including the Muslim countries They stop at a large center, best would be the capital or city hall and make salat and leave, no big speeches, no attacks We should gather from our homes from 8:00 am and march to the center of the city for the conclusion of the march and make the salatul zuhr and go home. Whether we stop at a large center, or the capital of the country is up to each area. March, make salat and leave, no big speeches, no attacks. We don't have to attack anyone, we don't have to say anything more than just "there is nothing worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger" The March Shall: Be a fulfillment of our obligation of bringing Islam to the world We shall inform the world what Islam is based upon reminding mankind to worship their Lord, period 1 billion Muslims bringing the same message to mankind that Noah, Abraham, Moses, Salih, Jesus, and Muhammad brought. Just walking and some placards would suffice Not only that, we will finally be fulfilling our responsibility to mankind, the Amana that Allah has entrusted upon us Just repeat what Allah says in Quran, Say he is Allah the one, Allah the eternal, he has begotten none, nor was he begotten, and there is none like him Ayatul Kursi Ayatul Noor With 6000 verses in Quran, each person could just carry an ayat Dawa march goes as such, it should be all Muslims everywhere on the earth, so no matter where you are at that time, everyone is marching and inviting the world (even our Islamic leaders and the armies and the police) to Islam The March Shall not: Be a platform to advance anyone's particular agenda, there is no need for anyone to give any fiery speeches. There should be no flags, no nationalism. This is NOT a unity march, Muslims are not unified, however, if we wait till we are unified, nothing will get done, so even if you dislike the person next to you, the purpose of the march is to tell the world about Islam. No politics, No agendas, Not a teaching session of the details of Islam, which would only cause division. This will have no politics, no sects, no war talk, not even jihad talk. This is not a peace demonstration, or pleading with the world powers of any action or non-action, other than to accept Islam. Nationalism should not be part of it. Not unity, not complaining, not begging, not even admonishing, just a reminder and a warning to mankind to worship their Lord So the march will not be about us, or Iraqis or Palestinians, or kashmiris or any group - whether bush, Blair, Sharon go to war or go to the moon, that should not affect our goal to invite the world to the worship of the one true God. We are not there to defend terrorism, Usamah bin Laden, Saddam Hussein or anyone else. We are not there to criticize any government, Muslim or non. There should be no need to hide anything from anyone, nothing undercover, nothing sinister, not even a reminder to Muslim leaders of their oppression, we are only there to remind the world and invite them to the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger. We shall accomplish The need to let people know of Islam. This is something WE must do and not sit around waiting for someone else to do it. Something like this has NEVER been done before, we will be making human history. The Prophet said, when you invite people to islam, teach them the oneness of Allah, and after they accept that, then teach them that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and after that, teach them the salat. The Theme There is nothing worthy of worship, but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah No more, No less! Read Suratul Ya Seen if you are confused. Suratul Ya Seen pretty much says everything we need to say for this day. Muslims march thru the streets, with placards saying certain verses of Quran, reminding the people to worship Allah, If we can march for politics and war, we should be able to march for Dawa and Tawheed. Worship Allah, obey the Prophet (sas), do not associate partners with Allah. Suratul Ya Seen, and the man who came from the farthest part of the city, and all he said was "O my people, obey the message, obey those who ask no reward, but they are guided, why should I not worship my Lord who created me, and to whom we shall all return." Any and every Muslim can do that. And you don't even have to like the brother or sister next to you. The purpose is to explain, invite, and warn people about worshipping other than Allah. As the prophet sent a letter to heraculius, no more, no less. The Hajj is not Dawa, its a Pillar of Islam. This is much different, this is following the sunnah of all of Allah's prophets (Alayhi Salaam), who risked their lives inviting the people to the worship of Allah, alone, without partners, and of course following the Sunnah of His prophets Lets not make this complicated. This is a march, of Muslims calling everyone, whether in China, Makkah, Iraq, Palestine or New York City to the worship of Allah and Islam. PERIOD! And we cannot help who comes, but if the focus is Tawheed, unless someone wants to come just to cause problems, it should only attract people who want to tell the people about Tawheed. Regarding the segregation of men and women, that's up to those who are involved, we cannot dictate that to anyone, nor can we even control who does what, lets not make this complicated. If the women want to stay home, or the men want the women to stay home, or the scholars say that the women should stay home, that's a different matter the march stays focused on inviting people to Islam, again lets not make this complicated. If we can get a million people whining and crying to Uncle Sam to stop the war, we should be able to get the 1 billion Muslims to march globally and invite the world to Tawheed. Who knows? Maybe Allah will bless us for this and improve the ummah. Make dua to Allah, focus on Allah, and we can accomplish this. lets not make this complicated! |
