| Salam, Just thought I would share a slideshow I made of some pictures I took at the March 15th Anti-War Rally in Toronto. http://members.tripod.com/merimda/peace.htm Approx 10 000 ppl showed up. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?g=events/wl/102602iraqprotests&a=&tmpl=sl&ns=&l=1&e=100&a=0 Me and a friend made that Peace Train banner you see in the slide show. While I was sewing it I thought: [i]Wouldn't it be so cool if I could get this banner signed by ppl around the world so that it would be like a real peace train[/i]. At the time it was just a thought and I didn't really take it seriously but after telling my friend she encouraged me to pursue the idea. Soooo.... if anyone here is interested in signing The Peace Train I'd be more than willing to send it to you insha-Allah ^_^. salam, merimda |
