| Israel gangs up on Palestinians as Anglo-American invasion of Iraq goes on Al-Khalil, March 26, IRNA -- The Israeli occupation army continued to kill and maim Palestinian civilians during the first week of the Anglo-American invasion of Iraq despite a marked reduction in Palestinian resistance to Israel's colonialist occupation of the Palestinian homeland. In Bethlehem, trigger-happy Israeli soldiers on Tuesday shot and killed at least four people, including an 8-year-old Christian girl, not far from the Church of the Nativity ,the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Three other Palestinian youths were also killed in unclear circumstances. In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, occupation soldiers shot and killed a 10-year-old Palestinian child and seriously injured a second. Earlier, on Monday, the Israeli occupation army shot and killed a 14-year-old child in the city while trying to impose a curfew. Palestinian sources said the child, Ahmed Ahmed Imad Abu Jelhad, was killed when Israeli troops opened fire on a group of Palestinian children and teenagers who refused orders to go home. Another child was also injured in the leg and taken to Khalid Suleiman Hospital in the city.
