| [slm] A US delegation arrived in Amman on its way to Baghdad for ceasefire negotiations Abu Dhabi, Alittihad Daily, 3/26/2003 -- The UAE leading semi-official daily newspaper, Alittihad, reported today that a US government delegation has arrived in Amman, Jordan, yesterday on its way to Baghdad for negotiations with the Iraqi government about an immediate ceasefire. | AA I heard on WBAI yesterday that Cheney's daughter is there to act as a human shield in Baghdad (brave girl, Mashallah), so I'm not sure about the "ceasefire" side to it. For those of you who don;t know, WBAI is a fervent anti-war radio station in the NY/NJ area. |

| Brave is right. It will be very, very interesting to see how this plays out. There is no way in H-E-double-hockey-sticks that the president would allow bombs to drop and tanks to roll through the daughter of his closest friend and ally. Wow. :o |

| [slm] how interesting...... on the other hand a Muslims girl (or was it a boy? whatever) made a speech at a PRO-war rally supporting the war...the person was from Indonesia....or something like that......(one of those CAIR news stories) and while she was praising the ongoing war...the crowed was yelling anti-Muslims jeers at her!!! Well....the irony.... :o the person should learn something about humanity to one and all from Dick Cheney's daughter! |
