.... to everyone on this site... I've been missing the posts lately since I have not had so much time available... thought while I had a moment to check back in... I'd thank everyone again.... and post a Hadith... not sure I'd call it a favorite (smile).... there are soooo many favorites... Allahu Akbar... but it definitely makes my list of personal favorites.  In any case.... missing the time here... and enjoyed the check-in....  :-*

Please Enjoy....Bi'ithnillah

Al-Nu`man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said:

The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are like the body. If one of the organs is afflicted, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.

(Agreed upon)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lessons Deduced

1. The hadith urges the Muslims to retain mutual love, kindness, cordiality, and sympathy among the society for these attributes unify the Muslims’ feelings whether happy or sad.

2. The hadith aggrandizes the value of fulfilling the common rights among the Muslims and exhorts them to be merciful with one another

Sharing another, because I like it soooo much  ....
Hope everyone found a good day today... Insha Allah   :-*

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying:

A man follows his friend's religion, so each one should consider whom he makes his friend.

(Reported by Abu Dawud)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lessons Deduced:
- A Muslim should choose a pious believer as a friend and avoid befriending impious people.
