Guys, i have looked and looked and can't find any proof for wether or not the early masjids were started by women or not? Tha'ts *not* true right? I have this booklet called "A Century of Islam in America," and it does not mention that. Anyone know anything?

In the US. :)

i think the answer is no. that it wasn't established by women. cuz the book i hae should have mentioned it, it's such an important thing you know? after all the book is about the early years of islam in america.
